Hello! I love your blog 🥺 As an air dominant, I can come off as cold and distant sometimes but I’m just so in my head most of the time to even acknowledge it. I’m curious as to know, are there placements that can make someone seem pretty detached from everything?
Ofcourse:) I grew up in a fire-air dominant household so I can truly see where you're coming from🖤 In my personal opinion, air and fire dom are actually the most emotional out of the 4 elements haha the reason for this is because they lack a lot of emotional understanding, so they suppressed it all, air rationalizes while fire burns. But I'll get into this another day:) Lets talk placements that indicate detachment.
Aquarius Rising/ Uranus 1H: Aquarius Rising has a part of them that they never truly understand and they dont expect others to understand. Uranus rules over eccentricity and disruptions, there's something odd and unique about them people can't really pin point.To say that they feel like an alien is understatement. Most Aquarius Rising can seem so secretive because of their Scorpio MC, they like to be seen as the mysterious one, the one person no one really knows. They prefer to keep their public persona a little bit more complex and mysterious (Scorpio 10H) Uranus rules air but it also rules clairvoyant. So these individuals have this depth to them like no others, they tend to be able to see things both beyond whats present on the surface. Enigmatic yet deeply wounded people.
Scorpio Rising/ Pluto 1H: their home life was not the most loving and their parents expected them to come off as diplomatic and mature in terms of their social life. They grew up pretty curious and can even be seem as someone who's destined for greater things ever when they were little. (Aquarius 4H, Aquarius=innovation, detachment, air) This in turns became this rock on their shoulders which they have to carry around. Don't trust people that easily and they tend to lead mysterious life, they protect themselves by being extremely nit picky about their circles and close relationships. (Leo in 10H may suggest that they're extremely popular and can really succeed publicly, but also suggest that their public image is so fixed that others have a hard time seeing throught this and how their public persona differ from their real "self" so much. this dynamic then create an air of mystery and detachment around these people)
Air mercury/ mercury in air houses: objective individuals. air is very intellectual. most are very diplomatic. especially true when there's harmonious aspects between mercury-venus or mercury-mars. However, this dynamic tend to back fire at them since sometimes they are can be so objective, they may not be able to relate to the more personal side of things, which a lot of people have an easy time tapping into. Unless they can fine no wrong in your perspective, they will stay in between and try to resolve conflicts.(esp true for libra mercury) People however don't like this and push them to "make up their minds and pick a side". Air mercury are intellectuals and if they have softer placements in their charts most likely they'll aid you in your story to protect your feelings but if they're more cut throat people (aquarius mercury) will have no issues say it to your face. I have noticed how a lot of air mercury can be seen as superficial and fake because of this:(
Gemini moon/ Moon in the 3rd: the Moon sometimes can be very anxious, very changeable and moody. Gemini rules over our nervous system and restlessness. So when this two combined its no surprise that the individual with this placement can be very aloof and "flakey" on the surface. But objectively speaking, they're the most emotional out of the three air moons. Gemini being right next to Cancer, share their moody and forever changing nature. While for Cancer its more about emotions, for Gemini moon it's their minds. Their minds are always thinking and over analyzing. Observant people, they tend to focus on the big picture and if not managed well can be so prone to anxiety. Gemini moon come off as aloof is because as you speak, one thousand things are rushing through their beautiful minds, quick to respond but their words are their mask for their nervousness. Least intimidating out of the three air moons. Just need to talk it out.
Libra moon/ Moon in the 7th: Libra rules over balance and alliances. This explains Libra Moon objectiveness and diplomatic mindset even when it comes to their own emotions. I notice that people are often very triggered by how indecisive Libra moon natives are. They have a way harder time to make something personal and confront people. They prefer removing themselves from a toxic situation immediately rather than "talking it out". People in turns question their conflict avoidance behaviours and disagree with their way of approaching life. Libra Moon looks unfazed, but nice. Think untouchable. Think of someone so high up in society that even if they do come across something disturbing, they stay unbothered. Also, I notice Libra Moon like most Venusian children have amazing manners, sometimes too nice to people, leading to others thinking that they're "faking" it.
Aquarius moon/Moon in the 11th: They have this regal air to them, like their sister Leo but more idealistic. They're rebels at heart and since they were younger they had a "i'm different" mindset very early on. They always stood out for something, somehow. Emotions can intimidate them and vulnerability of opening up fast to someone scare them off. So they put up a front. A front where they act as if they don't care and don't feel as much as they do so they don't have to explain themselves and think about higher matters. Hint of god complex.
Saturn,10H dominant/Saturn Rising/Saturn 1H: business oriented people. very much focused on the goals and their perfect public self (esp 10H stellium). this can even be worse than some Virgo placements, as they truly only care about coming out on top and appealing to the public eyes. Workaholics. A need to always look put together. They strive for perfection-which does not exist. Their aloof facade intimidate people and they love it when people are intimidated by them. (similar to scorpio moon haha)
Virgo MC/Capricorn MC/ Taurus MC: ruthless in work. Capricorn MC is most likely to break the law to achieve their final goals. overidentify with their public's self and work. People view them as extremely dry and cut throat. Not necessarily the nicest in business matters. Words from them can hurt people and they refuse to be nice sometimes even when they can. At the end of the day, they know that their public persona decide their place in society, which in turns decide their financial security and ability to make even more money.
Saturn in 3rd/7th/10th house: Blockage to communication or self-expression in some way. While they are gifted with immense intellects and diplomatic power. They can come off as very serious, even scary and dry individuals who lead private lives. This is especially true for Saturn in 10th house. Authority and power struggles can be a big theme too.
Pluto in 11H/Saturn in 11H: issues with community. people see them as the odd one out, the blacksheep. always have an air of indifference to them.
Chiron 2H/7H: difficulties with people and their own self-esteem. Chiron 2H has a lot of issues with financial security when they were younger, where they grew attached to their material possesions yet were criticized for their desires and core values. This can make them workaholics and extra protective of their possesions as they grow older. Ruthless. Professional life and keeping up a stern face is important for them. Chiron in 7H has difficulty in forming closer partnerships, never felt understood or loved. Couldn't find someone who see them for who they really are. So in turns they avoid this by distancing themselves first
