I took a rest day yesterday, am still feeling under the weather from traveling, and my neck is acting up again.
I figured I'd just... Ply some yarn. By hand. On the drop spindle that hates me, because now there's two threads and it won't fall as much. Truly a fool proof plan.
The good news is, my neck feels better. Might be hand spinning is more ergonomic, neck wise, than staring at a screen. I've also plied most of the singles in the house. Definitely all the singles from spindles I wasn't using within a 2m radius of me.
The bad news is, I spun for four and a half hours, I still don't know how to ply without stuff tangling, and the spindle still loves the floor more than it loves spinning. Apologies to my downstairs neighbor, I hope no one was trying to sleep in the living room.
The half-printed spindle is awaiting reassembly and I'll put my yarn on my lil baby niddy noddy for skeining tomorrow, but tonight, I think I've done enough.
