I can’t stop thinking about the stupid Porygon in Special Episode 5.

On the surface, they’re just there to transport Dusknoir and Grovyle to the frozen island in the sky—but there’s so much weird subtext. They refer to Dusknoir as “Master,” but they’re clearly scared of him. And they seem very uneasy about Grovyle.

It makes me wonder—were they part of some kind of surveillance or enforcement system in the future? Maybe they served under Dusknoir in some official capacity.

And if they know who Grovyle is, maybe they were used to track or even attempt to apprehend him during his trips to the past? There’s this eerie vibe like they’ve seen some stuff, but they’re not exactly happy about it.

I wish we had more lore on them—feels like there’s a hidden story that never made it to the surface.

Thought I've been holding onto for a while:

What if the hero had a dimensional scream about all of the special episodes in explorers of sky

Especially episode 5. Hero getting a brief vision of grovyle and dusknoir. Possibly when Dusknoir was monologuing, telling Grovyle how he was going to go back in time to ensure the planet's paralysis.

If future trio came back after that, hero and partner would definitely be on edge. Especially if Dusknoir tried to keep his distance at first.

I wonder how hero and partner would react?

I was thinking about explorer's hero seeing SE5 through dimensional scream on blizzard isle. This could go a lot of ways, but my favorites so far are

Hero tries to lure Grovyle to the deepest part of Icicle Forest, thinking Dusknoir succeeded in his plan. Grovyle might get electrocuted again, might have to fight a very wary hero/partner

Hero and partner figure out Dusknoir can eat souls, and grill him about why he dragged Grovyle across what was left of the grass continent to melt it
