When I start to find meaning

My world seems to collapse

Shatter beneath my feet

Crumble all around.

For once I’ve found peace

On this yearn for explanation.

Hope rests on my heart

As faith lifts my mind.

I clutch for it,

As my lungs reach air.

Holding it tight,

Close to my soul.

This peace within my life,

I hope it stays a little while.
