When I say that I am a different person now; I don't mean that I grew older, my hairs longer, and that I learned how to do a make over. I mean that physically, emotionally, and mentally, I am a whole new person. Someone you do not know, someone who'll look at you just like any other stranger, deadpan. I now know how to control my deepest desires which bring me nothing more than disappointment and pain. I've learned how to hide a gazillion feelings behind a single smile. I'm that mystery girl now, who you want to talk to so badly, but you won't get a chance. Because I don't go back to the places that I've left with determination of never looking back. I'm a different person now because I am at peace with everything I know and have encountered. I know what self-love and self-respect is. I know what it means to be strong and independent. So if you see me halfway across the street, do not expect me to wave at you, because I won't.
