a shit ton of work was dropped on me and my colleague during this afternoon's meeting and they said that there would be a lot more coming for the rest of the year (my colleague alone will have 120 samples) but earlier today, i heard colleagues say that the section leader of what i do had a pretty big argument about needing more resources (aka people) in the future. they discussed how they were gonna get someone from a temp agency as well as another person with a fixed term contract to replace me in september🧍♀️
#how about. you hire me. for real.#they're gonna have to let me go when im almost fully trained now on all equipments#and i really don't want to work through a temp agency#im 27 soon 28 i want a real contract i want to be able to buy a place to live and stop throwing money out the window down into a landlord's#pocket.#my colleague the other day was clearly sent out to test the water bc he asked me if i would be willing to stay in our service if it meant#i had to work with a temp agency
