Hey folks! We want to grow our community on Tumblr and connect with more audio fiction podcast creators and artists alike. A bit about us:
How it Ends Studio (HIES), founded in 2017 by Micah Rodriguez and Stephanie Resendes, is an independent, Providence-based production studio that’s home to How it Ends, an award-winning, meta-narrative audio drama that intertwines grief, nightmares, secrets, memory, and mystery. Our show is distributed by Fable & Folly Podcast Network.
The HIES team has also directed The Pit Below Paradise, a limited series created by J. Evelyn Gaskell for Rusty Quill’s Neon Inkwell anthology podcast, released in 2024. Our fourth seasons is coming very, very soon and we'd love to connect with as many folks as possible. So please, if you're willing reblog, comment, heart us. We want to meet you!
So, theoretical question for the future, does it make sense to publish a pilot episode of a podcast before finishing production on the rest of the series?
I've been working on an audio drama podcast for a couple of years now, and the main issue with starting production is a lack of voice actors. I'm sort of wondering if putting a pilot out there with the voice actors we do have could spark enough interest to fundraise and hire more people
regulus and remus would've had a booktube or booktok channel, or even a podcast, where they just crash out over their favourite books, the ones that destroyed their entire soul and well-being and altered their brain chemistry
their biggest crash out was little women over jo & laurie cuz me too girl... me too
