Casino Royale

"You've been given your scorecards, you've read voraciously already, and you've played poker at our tables. But that begs the question... where have you been playing? Well, we'd like you to answer that question."

Team events are underway and the first has just finished. We (the mods) tasked each team with creating a casino, including the name, the location, the vibes, and any art they wanted to create for it. In the next few posts we'll be showcasing each casino and the things each team made for it!

It's been two months since Alana Maxwell joined SI-5, in the wake of committing her first kill she and Daniel Jacobi are sent on a mission to repair an AI in Germany. It seems like an easy job...or it does at first, but life in the SI-5 is never what it seems...

Plus, lovely chai tea, a $50 bet, a proud mother bird, a White Knight, "From Russia with Love," an excellent soldier, Franzbrötchen, fireworks, and movie references.

This fic was such a fun read and by “fun read,” I mean it broke my heart. The author managed to balance some really skillful characterization with just the right balance of painful allusions to the canon of the show, all while establishing the younger, more innocent SI-5 — their descent into monsters, truly. It hurt!! In the best ways!! I am in MOURNING and I love it. Amazing fic if you’re even a little intrigued in how Alana Maxwell because a monster, and definitely a must read if you love Jacobi and Maxwell’s friendship.
