call for podfic requests keeping for recs

hi!!! i am a baby podficcer and i am asking for y'all to pls let me know in the replies IN THIS FORM if you have any podfic requests! i'm having such a hard time deciding what to record next lol

any length but pls know i only have 1-2 hrs to record and still get a reasonable amount of sleep! so shorter fics will have a much shorter turn around ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ i will tag my usual fandoms. if you request a fic reading from a fandom i don't know it will also take me longer to do, but i promise to at least take a look!

i am just as willing to read explicit and dead dove fics as i am other ratings if i'm in the right headspace to read it, so don't be shy!

ps. your ask can also be for non-ao3 fics, like ficlets on your blog! those would be great vocal warmups for me before starting on a longer read

Do you have any Merthur podfic recs ? My eyes are a bit sore lately and I want to spend some time in Camelot before sleep ;)

I actually haven’t listened to any podfics! I love audiobooks, so the idea of podfics appeals to me. But I have very particular tastes in terms of characterisation and tropes, lmao (and also the types of voices I like to listen to) so tbh I haven’t really gone exploring in the podfic space. Alas; for some reason, nobody has recorded The Book of Merthur as a podfic — no idea why; who wouldn’t want to spend three years recording 600k+ words? lmfao

However, I’ve just done a quick search on ao3, and I found a couple of @astolat fics that I remember enjoying when I read them. No idea what the podfics are like, but here you go:
