As it turns out embedding a podfic into ao3 is actually really easy!!! I did a test run with an unrelated audio recording, and it literally doesn't take any effort at all!

Here is what it looks like in my very unfinished draft!

Literally just go to archive.org (that's what I use, so that's what this tutorial is about) and select your audio, click on share, and an option to embed pops up right away! It gives you some code and you just insert it into the html section of your draft! Very easy!!!!!

This guide is aimed at beginners with the intention of trying to break down the process so it is less overwhelming. It is, as all guides are, highly biased to what worked for me when I was starting out. If you find it doesn't work for you, I absolutely recommend trying out one of the many different guides out there!

My number one recommendation is: just go for it! Things are less complicated than you think. There are a hundred of extra bells and whistles you can start adding on once you're ready, but try and keep it dead simple for your first one.
