Stood up Infront of the Gods

Are you looking up at the sky?

Where we said we would look up at every night we were apart?

I’m still glaring at the stars,

My eyes peaking through the tears,

Asking the universe why you don’t watch the sky with me anymore.

Who are you watching them with now?

The moon grew twice his size to-night

With fowl flying past his sight

And wind - to tug - at his checkered suit

That billowed at his lapel

I watched him swell at my peering eyes

I watched him loom with smiling pride

When I bestowed my attention

On his gray old brow - that raised at my interest

He flaunts his gloomy glow at me

With jazzed hands and tapping feet

I laugh at his dear comedic routine

And watch him all night long.

The branches creak and bow

The wind casts leaves - away

It bleeds into the trees 

And starlight traces down

Their wooden flesh with tension

Of a thousand men

The dreams of stilled goodbyes

Dance mutely in the birds' 

Sleeping heads - with - only 

Exhaustion to keep them there

In the river - swims a trought

Restless - she flees her thoughts

As though - they were rivulets 

Of the current's fingers

That grasped at the trout's 

Scales - with glimmered in the star's light

And all through the forest

The night wandered

Taking his idle time

To breathe the view

And exude sweet darkness.

Give me all you have

I won't be disappointed.

Everyone's got their flaws.

Take my little hand

We'll dance through the night,

We'll speak of funny things and things that don't rhyme.

I'll stare at you as if the world's gonna end

But go back staring at the wall cause I won't pretend.

I'd climb mountains but the view from there ain't nothing compared to what I see right now.

Your eyes, they shimmer

You wear a beautiful smile.

I say "we shall all be but a memory"

But this memory, I'll forever keep

「red hammock」 Everyone born with a mission. Semua orang terlahir membawa berkah nya masing-masing. Ada yg mjd spt harapan keluarga, ada yg sebaliknya. Ada yg kehadirannya menambah beban, ada pula yg dinantikan. Ada yg tdk terduga, ada pula yg dinantikan cukup lama. Semuanya hadir dalam kebaikan, tak ada kehidupan yg tak diharapkan baik. Pun kelahiran seseorang di dunia. Perkara gede-nya lbh sering bikin mak bapaknya istighfar ya itulah misi yg dia bawa ke dunia. 😄 Tapi yah hidup tanpa 'bumbu' apalah artinya. Mjd seseorang yg baik aja di dunia ini ternyata gak cukup. Maka adanya komentar org, omongan tetangga hingga hasil karya jempol warganet bkn tanpa tujuan. Mrk ya sama aja, hadir dgn misinya di dunia ini. Mungkin salah satunya ya menguji kesabaran & kebaikan. 🤣 How we can control 'em? Should we change ourselves? No. Just control urself. Krn kita gak bs mengontrol pikiran & jempol orglain. Tetap lah mjd baik walaupun cm buat diri sendiri. Just like the red hammock on the forest. You just being you, outstanding and different.
