My take on #lettergate
I spoke about the series typically setting up a "slice of life" mystery in S2 and S4 both.
S2: "Who is Mad Max?"
S4: "Who is the person that Will likes?"
Well, in S5 I believe they'll set up something similar. I've mentioned before how I think we will see Will get a note on his locker from Chance,
( this is just a wip but Ima be so fr I probably won't finish it lmao so I'm putting it here to illustrate my point )
BUT ... I also think he'll get that note PLUS a little poem from a Secret Admirer ... ( UGHUGGHUGGHUHGUHGH MY HEART )
Will and the audience both believe the note is from Chance because who else, right?
And then at the end it is revealed that it was MIKE who sent it.
There are some obvious issues with this still, for example wouldn't Will recognize Mike's handwriting? Unless Mike does it a la Enzo with newspaper letters lmfao.
Also the timing of the two I'm not sure. maybe they establish Chance leaving notes for Will and then in some other episode he gets the poem and we all assume it's Chance or something.
But yeah, my brain's been kinda considering this. The poem would be Mike's response to Will's painting and in the end it is revealed Mike DID understand what Will meant in the van / was confused during his speech to El bc everything was so crazy and happened so fast and the world was about to go to shit and he didn't know what to do.
