i knew that. i know that the sun rises from the east and sets from the west, but i still told myself that it rose differently on the day we met. i know that if i was one minute earlier or late to that bus ride, everything would have changed. but i managed to convince myself that the reason why i decided to wear mismatched socks today is because the skies wanted us to meet. i know that life has no purpose and that we spend most of it trying to read between the lines and labeling every notion with words we won't remember. i know that sometimes there is really no meaning to what is meant to be meaningful. and that emotions are nothing but a figment of definitions we have collected from aimless poetry and nights where we are unable to sleep. i know that, but why is it so difficult for me to accept?

Thanks for the heads-up, explode7. This is one of the weirdest glitches I’ve ever seen. I just checked my post in Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge, and on my iPhone in the tumblr app, and they all showed up like they should. Can anyone with an Android test this out for us?

Also, I might as well take a moment to clarify here. If something shows up on here that looks like it’s from Fox And Friends, it’s probably an error.

Thinking about it hurts

emotions mixed up

A tearstained aura they depict

Nothing is alive inside

A casket is all that remains

The cold ices all ounces of joy

I only reap losses from gains

I no longer smile

Only a crack is left

I no longer ooze with joy

My world is turned over

I no longer laugh

My voice chokes when I try to

I no longer feel the need to live

Inside I died a long time ago
