Episode 6: Play With Fire and You’ll get Burned
Saffron had a horrible confusing nightmare of broken glass fire and blood that morning. She thought nothing of it. Who didn’t have nightmare's at Hogwarts.
Charlie, feeling more himself and with slightly longer hair, asks Alana for help getting back on the Quidditch team. Things are going well at first until discussion of Saffron being back comes up. Charlie insist that it wasn’t his fault and that Saff was being stupid, which make Alana angry at him. They try to switch the conversation to him and Andre, but that’s kind of a dead end as well.
Saffron, on her way back from picking up her makeup work, runs into them. Alana’s excited to see her, but Charlie’s being kind of difficult about things. Him and Alana quarrel over his refusal to apologize while Saffron frets on the sidelines over their fighting. A furious Bill approaches when he hears Saffron exclaim over Charlie’s lack of hair.
They have a somewhat physical but mostly word based fight. Alana get’s angry at Charlie’s refusal to accept responsibility and storms off. Bill gets angry and takes Saffron leaves Charlie with some tough love. Nikki and Charlie are sarcastic at each other. He stands there for a moment uncertain which was to go, but goes after Alana.
Alana is sitting sadly by the lake. They have a heat to heart. Charlie resolves again not to be a jerk and to tell people he’s sorry and finds out Bill and Saffron are together.
Alana and Faireth went to go see Dia and a now awake Mystic in the infirmary. They talk about the monster wondering if the attack was planned. Could it be R? Faireth was worrying that they think it could be her when Aud and Nikki came in. They still can’t figure out why the monster attacked. They discuss the potential that Death Eaters are coming back and exchange introductions. Saffron comes in joins them, only briefly informing the others of earlier events.
Dia begins talking about things she’s noticed about their friends and the conversation leads to boys/girls and types. Andre visits Bex and notices the flowers Hec left her. One by one the gang comes to visit. When Charlie comes in he pulls Saff aside for a heart to heart. Things don’t go as planned. Both try to apologize but neither think the other one should. It’s isn’t till Charlie questions her relation ship does she get upset: pointing she kept her promise to him but he didn’t keep his to her.
When they get back in the room Awilda asks how it went. Saff says good, hey they even hugged at the end, but Awilda’s not ready to forgive Charlie. Charlie ends up overhearing her and they fight in the hall. Dia and Saffron try to distract from the obvious yelling by talking about Penny and Will(Bill). A fuzzy feeling permiatted Saffron’s mind. Awilda decrees they shall be nothing but strangers from here on out and that she’ll never not be disappointed in him.
Charlie comes back into the room and all hell breaks loose. Alana, unable to physically stand Charlie’s pain anymore, goes into a tale spin. A more realistic version of Saffron’s nightmare seemed to play out in vivid detail. Things began to wobble and shake, Alana’s emotions out of control. Andre found her fould no longer hold her as she grew hot to the touch. She roared at them furious of how they were treating Charlie. Saffron yelled at Charlie to get out of there as Hector tried to cool Alana with water.
The water began to levitate from the glass startling everyone. Alana lectured them about being bad friends and about being cruel to Charlie. The windows shatter scattering glass onto everyone. Saffron throws herself atop a paralyzed Dia to protect her. Hector tries to help but burns his hands and gets thrown back. Saffron screams at Alana to stop.
Charlie grabs Alana but she’s like fire now. She pushes him off. Bex stirs. Andre is torn between saving his girlfriend who’s eyes are no turning black and helping his best friend. People rush to Bex trying to figure out if she’s finally going to wake. Saffron tries to push Charlie out of the room and begs him to leave for Alana’s sake. All the while she finds it seems to be growing darker and darker. Alana reaches her peek and the destruction comes to a stop much to madame Pomfrey’s relief.
Passing out Alana takes Saffron down with her. People rush Alana to a cot to figure out what went wrong. Mystic tries to get to Bex nearly tripping over Saffron’s now unconscious body. Bex slips in and out of consciousness muttering about stars. Madame Pomfrey and McGonagall let the students know they are officially fed up. Meanwhile, Awilda is crying to a rather unsympathetic Myrtle… again.
Charlie picks up Saffron and places her in a cot before moving over to where Bex and Alana were. Some of the student leave exhausted while others find rest in their cots.
Andre begs to stay clasping Alana’s hand. He didn’t want to leave her in such a delicate state. However, he is ordered to leave for her safety. Charlie furious goes to storm out stops only at hearing Bex speak. Everyone, but especially Charlie, Andre, and Hector, flounder over whether to stay or go. Bex finally slips back into a restful sleep.
Andre leaves for real this time. McGonagall suggests the others do the same lest they want to start losing house points. Charlie leaves to go tell his big brother what happened. Hector continues to tend to the wounded including one very cranky Dia. Once everyone seems okay, Hec leaves without realizing he missed Saffron.
Mystic’s brother Dante arrives to check on her. He is oh so very dashing and charming and very very hot. He teases her about her relationship with Aud. They have a heart to heart and catch up on how she’s doing. Mystic hasn’t seen or heard from her parents since before she left for Hogwarts. Talk turnds back to romantic partners. Constantine gets sent to the ward for an undisclosed incident involving a black eye and a house elf interrogation. All the while she attempts to listen in on that sweet sweet gossip. It seems she might have been injured while spying on Badeea.
Andre runs into Ana Diaz who’s happy to check in on her friends. And Wolf, whose back after his extra potions class, joins them. Wolf gives everyone flowers! Dante leaves. Everyone seems to be having a great time when suddenly Mystic goes ridged and experience vivid flashbacks. She refuses to talk about it. Audrey and Wolfget go to investigate their previous adventure.
