Jegulus; A timeline from Sirius

At first he’d be like:

“I love the fact your gay Reg because now no one will continue our family tree in *that* way and also mother would be pissed but also Regulus wtf that’s my best friend no I do not approve”

THEN he’d be like:

“I’m still low key mad at you both, but now it’s easier to sneak into the Slytherin common room. This is purely me tolerating it for the benefit of the marauders cause”

THENNN he’d have a 3 am revelation and jump on James 3 second after

“PRONGS YOU AMAZING HUMAN I’M SO FCKING OKAY WITH YOU BEING WITH MY BROTHER CAUSE WHEN YOU GET MARRIED YOU’LL LEGALLY BE MY BROTHER IN LAW AND YOU’LL BE PUT ON THE FAMILY TREE MY DREAMS ARE COMING TRUUUUEEEEE”

James wouldn’t fully process what he said at first and just be “Pads it’’s 3 am go back to sleep..........OH MY GOD YOUR RIGHT, WHERE IS REGULUS I’M PROPOSING RIGHT NOW, MOONY WORMTAIL GET UP WE’RE HAVING A WEDDING”

“Like we weren’t already awake” Remus would comment sitting up, although was Peter still asleep

They make it to the Slytherin dorms and BURST through the door, awaking everyone in the vasitiaty up and James screams “REGULUS BLACK GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE SO I CAN PROPOSE”

He’d roll over on his bed to see Sirius and James stupidly awake and excited, Remus leaning on the door frame looking both unamused and amused (he’s the only person who can do both) and Peter on the floor in the hallway asleep

“Yeah a’right” Reg would shrug and lay back down to sleep

James and Sirius would high five, whoop, and somehow get MORE excited, Remus would just be quietly laughing shaking his head before some teacher comes and gives all of them detention, even Reg

That was Regs first detention

They “got married” in that detention.......McGonagall cried

James: Minnie who’s your favorite me,Peter,Sirius or Remus?

McGonagall: I have no favorites Mr. Potter

Sirius: C’mon Minnie you have to choose one of us

James: please Minnie

McGonagall: Mr Black Mr Potter do you want detention

Remus,whispering to both of them: I’m her favorite

Sirius: Impossible

James: If it’s not us it’s Peter

Minerva McGonagall pulled out her notebook and turned to the page that listed the names and details of that years Gryffindor Quidditch team. Her heart swelling with pride she jotted down the name “Harry Potter” next to the position “Seeker” before closing the book and opening a second drawer. She took out a small, wooden box and rummanged in it fir a few seconds before withdrawing a worn out of envelope, inside of which was a short letter and a photograph.

“Dearest Minnie

Hope you’re doing well! Im the same of course, driving Lily up the wall as usual, she sends you her love by the way! 

Now I know I told you that you’ll never a chaser as good as me ever again, but it just goes to show that even the brilliant are sometimes mistaken. I’ve found you (and made you) a replacement who will one day outshine his old man by leagues! Enclosed is a photograph of your new Quidditch prodigy so that you may asses his skills for yourself. We have him chasing the cat for practice. He’ll be unbeatable by the time he starts at Hogwarts! The youngest Quidditch player in a century!

I guarantee it, Minnie. And you know I’m never wrong, though you’ll never admit it!
