We waited for a miracle That didn't work We took our prescriptions We only got hurt Wallow in the tears It will do us no good You can fill yourself with sorrow It doesn't mean you should We tried to make it work You bet we did But my heart was already broke And yours sold to the highest bid #PointFormPoetry #Poetry #Photography

I ain't found what I was searching for When I left there long ago Its not something to dwell upon Its just some pity for the show She left me in the coldest night I stared out my window The frost was biting at my lip I knew it was time to go Nobody asks where I am going They're asking where I've been As if the pasts no illusion And the future is a sin They say i played upon some dreams As if a violin Contemplating strategy For the predicament I'm in Now I am not there I'm never going back Need time to find myself Get myself back on track Searching high and low For the feelings that I lack Stare into the starry night And all I see is black They all tell me that I'm running But there's nothing to run from I'm happy with my predicament I find it quite fun They say it was not her But I who started to run When things grew difficult It was She who left me as one Now they say the trail is lonely And the road has much to tell They say that god is righteous But its the bible that they sell These salesmen and these preachers Say I'm going to hell For running from my misery And drinking from their well They say that's my problem That I have to much to lose But when you've got nothing at all But your clothes and your shoes What is there to lose now When the sky's still filled with blues I have all that I need Trust me I have paid my dues I've lived in every country Shared every mans name I loved a million women But none of them the same None of them shared her lips They had never felt her shame I could lay with them and be happy But its me I've got to blame The sun rises on the valley Its a new today I'm leaving this country now I hate for it to be this way I will wander till I find her In her body of yesterday When she no longer needs to run Run so far away #PointFormPoetry #Poetry #Photography
