I’m having a pointless argument with my sister, and I need your guys’ help; when you say “on the count of three,” do you mean “one, two, three, go,” or “one, two, go on three?” I insist it’s go on three, but she’s adamant that you say three and then go on what would be four.

Aw. But it's Friday. If we can't start an argument over something as minor as .yaml vs .yml, we might have to do some real work.
My boss and I got into a bit of an argument, and I need someone to weigh in and tell me I'm right.
Putting something "on top" of a bookshelf is not the same as putting it "on the top shelf." That's like putting something on top of a filing cabinet and saying it's in the top drawer; the top, the roof, the lid, whatever you call it, that doesn't count as part of the storage unit. When she asks me to look on the top shelf for something, and I don't see it, she acts like I'm an idiot for not standing on a stool to look ABOVE the top shelf.
What does "the top shelf" mean to you?
What has more power in any situation. A Clown or a Mime?
Especially when the argument is pointless
Remember kids, when you express your loathing and ill-wishes towards another person, be very careful, as not to include words or phrases that might make somebody feel singled out because of their gender, ethnicity, mental stability, or sexual orientation. Making other people feel bad about themselves is absolutely fine, but being prejudice when you do it is downright despicable. There's a politically correct way to do everything, so make sure you are know the PC and Proper way of How to Hate.
