I was tagged for the last line meme awhile ago, and all my word processing is on the other computer, so it’s taken me awhile to get it across the hall. The current last line of the lesbian western is:
I didn’t know where we would live, or how, or anything the future held; but I would have a wife, and I smiled back at her, ready for whatever came next.
The rules are, post the last line of something you’ve written, then tag as many people as there are words in that line. Or a reasonable subset of that line. Makes me wish I hadn’t added anything after an earlier draft’s final line, “All right.” Thirty-one way too many words to tag with, so I’ll go for the last dependent clause and tag the last five people I got notes from. So that’s @dramallamadingdang, @megadevotedlyfuriousbouquet, @katatty-main who I think has already done it, @wellofloneliness, and @holleyberry, who is the person who tagged me but that’s life.
