well to be fair I don’t think the audience was being mean or malicious or would have even yelled that out had his own bandmates not basically gay baited them. what were they supposed to think when the band members say happy pride and finn has a biiiig announcement later ??
like???? OFC that’s what a crowd of mostly young gen z-ers would think was going on. If any singer had that happen I would expect something lgbt was about to go down as well. I don’t blame the crowd at all here let’s not villainize them, they were being hyped and primed by Finn’s own band. So either that was coordinated with Finn and he was fine with it, whether he was actually gonna say something srs or not, or he needs to have a discussion with them. But I am not gonna blame the audience. In San Fran btw which is gay central like hello what do people expect I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of that audience there was queer themselves
