In my spare time I’ve decided to take my new techniques and hacks to update the old pokedots in addition to a new one daily. 

So here’s a couple revised Bulbasaur!

Snorlax!

My favorite cat-bear Pokemon. :) Well, what do you think it is then? It falls in line with the whole shinto principle that moods, emotions, and habits can manifest as creature, but from it’s appearance and demeanor I’d either call it a bear or a cat... Or maybe a cat-bear. It loves to eat and sleep. So do cats. So do bears.

Done. 

Also, I think having a well-trained totorro- *cough* Snorlax around the homestead would be awesome. Block the road as needed, provide a warm place to sleep as needed (for the whole family), and can keep the overcrop from piling up. :)

Mega Dots now or Later?

So we’re rapidly approaching the end of the Gen 1 Poke-dots and it occurred to me that it might be kinda fun to take a stab at the Mega Evolutions for each of the generations as I complete them... 

Basically, I’d do Mega Charizard X/Y, Mega Blastoise, etc... All the Gen 1-ers that have mega forms. And THEN move on to Gen 2. After completing Gen 2 I’d do all the mega forms of pokemon from that generation and so on.

The other option I’m giving myself is to finish the initial set of 720+ poke-dots. And then swing around and do the mega evolutions... But that means we’re just under 2 years away (barring any more unplanned sabbaticals) from getting there. 

I’m pretty comfortable either way, but if folks following me felt one way or the other, I just thought I’d ask. 

So... Generation 1 Mega Evolution Dots now or later?

Porygon!!

The first published “artificial” Pokemon. It’s angular and apparently digital or something.  While I get that there’s no “better” type, Normal just seems weird. It’s definitely a computer-based Pokemon, so plausibly... Electric? But how cool would it be if it achieved the first triple-type. Ya know, since this is one of a scant handful of pokemon that can learn “tri-attack.”

Jolteon!

Spikey McSpikerson. :D Hahaha, this little bugger is so cute. I’ve wondered just how rough the spikes actually are? I mean... Are they more quill-y? Are they more scale-y? Or are they the texture of gelled fur? Hm... Imagine the feisty-ness if you pet one the wrong direction!? Dun dun dun.
