LET ME TELL YOU.

I have been THINKING of something fun about this doofus and most of it is little things. He likes greasy food, turns out. He gets cold extremely easy because he lives in a very warm/tropical place and Einquell to him is FRIGID. His coat was the first thing he bought because oh my god it's so cold here. Lilie is likely his first crush? Actually his second but hey. First one he thinks he might actually... be able to talk to??? Which. Whoa.

Guy is 23 and this 9 foot dinosaur is Very Pretty and Very Strong and he likes her a lot.

...Yeah. Silas is 23. Turns out joining the royal guard kind of fucks with you. Whoops?

But! Back to the fun things: He's found that, when he's able, he luxuriates in hot water. Like a hot spring or hot tub. Man's not had a chance to do that often but it is a WONDER on all those sore muscles and it's nice to just relax somewhere even just for a bit. He'd go all out if he could! Just. That's like his ideal break. Loves it.

The hat is Otis, he’s a demon of knowledge who was sealed away inside the hat and Thrall is literally his thrall.

is the tarod set official merch?

No, this is not official merch. This is a fanmade item that will have a limited run based on how many orders are received, and once the excess stock that is ordered is out, that is it! 

Team Cherry’s stance on fan merch is such that, as long as I do not use kickstarter or indiegogo to fund the creation of this deck, I am allowed to make and sell it. Which is why there is a limited window for orders and there will be a limited stock. 

So, if you do want a fan made Tarot Deck themed around Hollow Knight, you should get on this one while you still can!

origin of otis and thrall?

So the actual, real life origin is a dumb joke I made over four years ago. Then I wanted to draw the “possessed hat” and, from there, we evolved into Thrall and Otis. 

The dumb story version is that Hex found an old ass hat in an antique shop and put it on and now here we are.

Fun fact: Otis is named Otis because, originally, the Thrall was going to be named Syndi.
