Hello Coin-Coin! It's nice seeing more Pokémon here, even though I believe you and I to be quite different. Otherwise credible sources online state your species is a human creation, is this true? There's so much misinformation on the internet, especially recently. If true, I'm not sure how to feel about humans mucking about creating their own life, but I cannot hate my fellow Pokémon.

How do you use Rotomblr? There is a diversity of reported methods Pokémon employ to interact with this website and others; purchased devices, stolen devices, sanctioning by humans, I've even of read one who claimed to directly interface via electricity. In my case I use a computer which is designated to me by the (professor of) materials science lab I work for.

Porygon is a man-made Pokemon species, originally intended for space travel. We are more comparable to a computer program than a biological Pokemon as a result.

To answer your question: I am accessing Rotomblr through a laptop that my Administrator purchased approximately one week ago. It has a few additional 'Games' for me to interact with as well as this page. I have not tried them yet.

I am currently inside the laptop itself! I have the ability to move to whichever device I am needed in, but I have been instructed to default to this device during downtime.

I am a lab assistant in Unova working in materials science. The lab I work at is focused on biomimetic materials. As such, we have performed a lot of evaluations of live Pokémon, as well as materials harvested from Pokémon. Oftentimes harvested materials are less resilient than if they were still part of a live Pokémon. In the case of parts which are perfused by blood, it's often a lack of energy supply. Sometimes, though, a lack of circulatory or nervous connection doesn't fully explain the degradation: Zangoose claws are almost entirely separated from any blood supply, yet still suffer from weakening when removed from a donor.

Do you believe this might have any connection with your field of study?

While it's not exactly my field of study, I can still give you an answer!

The claws of a zangoose (and other similar pokémon) become more brittle when removed from the body because, while there's little to no blood supply, the body provides nutrients, moisture, and structural support. When removed, assuming that the claw is keratin (this depends on the pokémon, but for zangoose it is), the keratin that makes up the claw dies and causes it to become significantly weaker. Hello doctor Snakewood!

It's nice seeing professors on Rotomblr. Your post about doing menial work reminds me of what I do at my lab! I work at a materials science lab adjoined biology lab in Unova, I won't say which one, but it likely immediately came to mind. If so... please do not inform the head staff that I'm a Pokémon! I'm secretly behind most of the menial tasks for the teams under one of the professors in the materials division.

You might have heard about the Audino situation in Unova. Eggs produced by Audino in Unova have become increasingly fragile and nonviable. I performed most of the experiments and was the editor for the paper on a possible remineralization technique! I've also helped with some of the follow-ups.

That technique hasn't been used yet, but I'm hopeful it will be in the future. It would be nice to think that my efforts are put to work healing Pokémon (and people). What sort of techniques or discoveries have your teams made?

I’m glad my little post was relatable to someone, at least. Haha.

It is incredible that you’ve managed to find, and maintain such a job as a Pokémon. Especially without your c. Co workers noticing. I assume you have specialized working conditions.

It is rare I even see Pokémon with sentience enough to adeptly communicate. Much less have a job.

I have heard of the Audino population’s ongoing struggles leading to their increasing rarity. I do wish I could work on a more interesting project like that for a change. But as of now, most of the projects we are sent happen to be the jobs that the mainland Kalosian Labs find themselves too good for.

Currently I am attempting to pinpoint a treatment for Sunflora suffering from ‘Solar Exhaustion’ due to the ability Solar Power. It is a painful condition that leads to chronic fatigue in the Pokémon. Hence why I am comparing cell cultures at the moment.

Apologies for any spelling errors. I have a condition that causes my hand to momentarily ‘phase’ through my phone at times.

Is this real? As in, is this a university which provides education to Pokémon? I am want to say that a majority of educational programs targeted to us are scams, at least in some way. How do you intend to distinguish yourself as legitimate?

An absolutely valid question! We do have our credentials listed on our website. I hope that our open admission to Eebies and Hybrids should help establish some trust as well, though given the nature of our universe at this time, I can understand if not.

Your species is much larger than mine, so you might have something of the opposite of my problem. In the lab the students often look well over me, bumping their hips in my face. Do humans ever not notice you? Have you ever managed to sneak by a human?

Humans notice me a lot, yep! I've never managed to sneak by a human, but why would I want to? Humans are the coolest!
