Pokemon Go: the Extremes that a Man will Do to Get a Snorlax
Okay story time. Sorry no pictures this time as my phone was being used during this story.
Okay last night my hubby and I went out seeing we got our car back a few days ago. We went to the Holloween Store, got the new Pokemon Go book that came out on the 13th, and went out for dinner.
Well as we was heading for dinner. I was on my phone getting my 10 Pokemon Stops through town (I do my husband’s account going back home). Then ALL OF A SUDDEN…. I saw a Snorlax in the sighting list. Of course I got one a few weeks before as my hubby caught it in the backyard (it’s CP IS 925) as when he tried getting himself one, it ran away and since then the Hubby been obsess of getting one and trying to hatch 10k eggs hoping just once to get it.
What did my hubby do when I told him a Snorlax was near? He made a sharp U turn into a nearby road and went after it asking me when the Snorlax disappeared, when is it in the top 3 in the list, tell him when that bastard is number 1 in the list etc. I don’t know how long we drove around in that neighborhood but if anyone looked outside they would see a car going around in circles like its lost.
Then we lost the Snorlax. Hubby was like “if he pops back up I will Literally jump out from this car!” Just as he said it. Snorlax did. Hubby parked the car and leaped out from the car like a rocket, got tangled with the seatbelt and starting running with my phone like a crazy person. And down the road he went, into people’s front yards and back up again and left and right.
Guys, my hubby hates exercising. I haven’t see that boy run like that since high school in the gym.
I don’t know how long he was running but he came back about 10min later I asked him if he got it. The look on the man’s face told me the answer. It was if I kicked his puppy, told him that Santa wasn’t real wrapped up with telling him that his computer broke (aka no gaming). With the heavy heart he said, “no”
What was once fueled by obsession is now filled with revenge of getting that Snorlax. He wouldn’t stop talking about how he plans on doing that since then.
