Pokemon Go! the documentary

After a few weeks the Pokemon Go! App have been released the app have been the most downloadable contents ever! I decided to look into it a bit more since they have reached millions with people playing this game. The official release date of the first Pokemon Go! was on July the 6th, 2016 which is only been released in some countries at first. Later on they have updated their app and now it has been released all over the world.  The name of the company that made this game is called Niantic Inc. a software developing company in California with John Hanke as the founder of this company. They have been cooperating with the Pokemon Company a Japanese company which gives the licensing of the Pokemon franchise and it is been released on iOS and Android and again they might have an updated for iPhone and Windows as well. It is an augmented reality game with gps locator as a part of the game as it needs to know your whereabouts so that they can randomly spawn Pokemon at your areas.

Surprisingly Pokemon Go! had slightly the same concept and ideas which I had for my project as well. My game is Digimon World which also a classic game as well. My idea was to create an immaterial display as the game platform and having you to play outdoors too. Even the gameplay was for you to explore the world and fight other players too. But not everything will be the same since the gameplay of the game is different and so I will have different features then.

Pokemon Go! Released!

There have been recent news about a new game application had been released and it has been the talk of quite a lot of people. This new app has a familiar character and name to it and it is called Pokemon Go! Based on the famous game and the cartoon Pokemon they had taken this classic game into a new platform which is in Augmented Reality version. Pokemon game which are used to be played in Gameboy, now you can just downloaded it in your phone. Although the gameplay of this game is a bit different than the classic ones. Basically you yourself will become a Pokemon Trainer in real life and will walk around outdoor to catch all the Pokemon. So the objectives of the game remains the same only that you will not be controlling any other character and also not sitting still while playing it. When you are nearby a Pokemon the app will alert you their whereabouts and show you where exactly they are on the map. Once you found one it is time to engage and capture the Pokemon with your Pokeballs. In order to capture the Pokemon you have to throw your Pokeballs precisely at the Pokemon so you will not miss it and you do so by swiping on your phone screen. That is the fun part on playing this game.

Not only that they have those features capturing Pokemon but they also have other features such as the Pokemon Gym, Pokemon Centre and a slightly different features called Poke Stops. There are many Pokemon Gym around the world and each of them have a Gym Leader and you can challenge the gym leader if you want to claim that gym and get the title as the gym leader. By becoming the gym leader you will gain a bonus reward during the period of time of you being a gym leader. Other than that you have Pokemon Centre which you can go and heal your Pokemon if they are injured. Another one is the Poke Stop which is located based on the real location spot. At the Poke Stop you can get more Pokeballs and other items such as Potions to heal your Pokemon or some Berries which are used to keep the Pokemon from running away. All in all this new version of Pokemon are really interesting and fun to play with. Also you will be going outdoors more often to catch all the Pokemon and finally become the Pokemon Master.
