Victor Nikiforov is the most popular singer and entertainer in Grand Prix, a futuristic city where they sky can change colour at the press of a button and where people’s voices all clamour for attention. On the evening of his final concert before his retirement (and marriage to his lover Katsuki Yuuri), he is attacked by the Camerata, a mysterious radical group that seeks to change Grand Prix City from the ground up, using a strange sword known as the Transistor. 

He survives, but at the cost of Yuuri getting impaled on it instead and his voice.

Now with a lost voice, and his lover’s soul stuck inside the Transistor, Victor and Yuuri set out to find the secrets of the Camerata. And very secrets behind Grand Prix City itself.
