I was never a fan of #Pokemon. The #PokemonGo came out and it felt a lot closer to what I envisioned the game to be. Seeing the designs for the characters in the way the game presents them keeps inspiring me to create something cute and fun, and #Charmander is one of those characters I keep getting inspired to draw. I ended up drawing him and all of the starters from the 1st to the 4th generation. I wanted to draw a large #pokemon piece to celebrate the anniversary of #pokemongo, but I realized that I wanted to draw too many after beginning on a 9x12 piece. I ended up making it a #triptic which still left me unsatisfied. I then realized if I added some more paper to the mix, include take this large piece and shrink it to a standard 11x17 size for my portfolio. The #Pokemon journey continues! I mistakenly took my non photo red pencil with me to the gym instead of my graphite pencil, so that was an interesting experience. At 60+ #pokemon in this piece, I am on pace to draw the most characters I've ever drawn in an illustration. Here are some more #Pokemon. I did some research to make sure I kept the characters in the proper scale in relation to one another. It's funny how many are the same height and how some are so much smaller or bigger than I thought they would be.
