Epic Diana.
You may think I tend to obsess once I find a dislike on something.
Sadly, you may be right.
I came back to the image of Diana
which completed the heroic triptic of the Trinity:
TBH, I don't think so.
Without looking too much, I've found a few images from Jim Lee himself which better fit into the trilogy:
Even, you can argue she belongs in this devastation better than the bland background Lee designed for her: She can be the guardian of the mythic realm, preventing for any creature escaping Hades and any god wrecking havoc on Earth by keeping an eye on Olympus. A small variant in color can help to cement that idea:
Et voilá.
There are other images by Lee himself, I find more suitable for the trilogy:
An oldie but goodie, with Diana in a dynamic pose far more in tune with the other two heroes. An appropriate background is needed. Little effort and a lot more imagination.
Other artists can also provide sources of inspiration:
But let's not get in infringements of copyrights.
My point is even though Lee is a great artists, he dropped the ball on this one. I expected more. The images of Batso and Supes are on fire, Diana's image is lame AF. He should've leave the triptic incomplete.
IMHO.
I love to rant.
