Pokeshipping Week 2017 - Day 5 Pain from not existing (AU)
Misty Waterflower peeled down the river side. It was such a beautiful day but the rain was starting to come in. She had been on her journey to become a Water Pokemon Master about a month.
She had something to prove to her sisters...and herself. She looked over on the other side of the river, seeing another trainer.
He was about her age and he had a Pikachu on his shoulder. Misty stopped her bike, watching the kid. He looked familiar to her but she didn't know why. The boy crossed the river with a rowboat, having a Pikachu on his shoulder.
Misty wondered if the kid was a new trainer or not. But she didn't ask, she just kept moving.
...
It wasn't until years later that Misty saw the boy again. Misty had became the gym leader on her 14th birthday, just late last week. The boy came in to see her sisters, whom were the gym leaders at the time he had earned his Casade Badge.
"My sisters are on a world tour. They won't be back for months now." Misty told him, honestly.
"Aw, I was hoping to say hello to them. Your sisters are quite...interesting." Ash admitted, scratching the side of his face.
"Pika pika!" His Pikachu agreed.
"Yeah sorry about that. They gave out the majority of the badges when I was on the road." Misty apologized.
"I believe that they gave you the gym recently?" Ash asked.
"Pi?" Pikachu squeaked.
"That I did." Misty answered, with a nod.
"Would you be up for a battle? Just for the fun of it?" Ash asked her, taking out a pokeball.
"Chu!" Pikachu said.
Misty smiled widely as she accepted.
...
Ash Ketchum. That was his name. And here she was, battling the boy once again. This time, it was Elite Four versus Challenger. Ash had become stronger but so did she. She had everything to lose. So did he.
But they couldn't shake off the weird feeling of deja vue. Have they met before...?
...
Sorry this wasn't much of an entry but there you go. See you tomorrow!
Pokeshipping Week 2017
DAY 03: IF MISTY HAD LIED TO STAY WITH RUDY - Thank you very much for inviting me to leave Rudy, I had a lot of fun today - Misty turned her face to see a smiling boy walking by his side who had remained all the time without taking his eyes for a second, enjoying very pleased watching how that redhead amused herself, causing a slight blush on the girl, causing her to turn her head forward again. Every place where Rudy had been had chosen them carefully, as a reason for celebration since she had chosen to stay with him and not continue traveling with that boy although apparently both felt something very strong for each other, which could Observe in their looks when they said goodbye. -Well, this is Mist's farewell ... Are you sure it's okay for you to stay here on the island of Trovita? -If clear Ash, I would not stay in a place that I do not like, or do you want us to continue traveling together? Do not tell me you already realized you need me? -Misty questioned Ash with a smile tilted from the bottom of his heart waiting for him to tell him that if he needed her and that he did not want to part with her in any way. The black haired remained silent for a few seconds watching her fixedly for a few seconds - Of course I would like us to continue traveling together, but I think it is better for you to accept Rudy's proposal to instruct the coaches of his gym, I know you will do very well, You are good at it. -Ah cla ... of course, I knew, you always worry about others, right? Thank you very much for everything, I think this is the farewell. "The pellirroja pronounced those words with a sad face. -Yeah, it's time to say goodbye to us - The dark-haired shake his head to accommodate the words he had said before -No, this is not a goodbye, but a see you soon. ...... "You do not have to worry about anything from now on Misty, I'll make you forget about that stupid boy and you'll be very happy here with me," he whispered, as he ran after the girl so he could reach her because he had been left behind by walking. lost in his thoughts. - ... brother ... wake up, I can not believe you slept until so late, you never did it. What happened, brother? Did not you sleep well last night? Did you have a nightmare? -I question the little sister very worried. - Of course not Mary, I had a beautiful dream!
Here is my third contribution for the poke week 2017
Pokeshipping Week 2017 - Day 4 Lost Together
Ash was always known for getting he and his friends lost. Whenever he had the map is whenever Misty knew to grumble.
But she was also very bad at direction. She would get lost just as bad as Ash. Sometimes he would snicker about it. This time though, Ash had the map from the beginning. The couple was headed towards Pallet Town after Tracey and Daisy's wedding.
Why Ash insisted on walking to his mom's, she had no clue.
Misty sighed as she stated, "Well, I guess we are lost again." She turned to her boyfriend and added, getting steamed, "And we wouldn't be lost if it wasn't for a certain trainer that should not be named."
Ash looked at Pikachu and asked, "Is she talking about me?"
"Pika pi, pika chu." Pikachu answered, shooting Ash a 'you think' look.
With that, the Electric type ran off. Ash groaned. He was now 23 years old, as was Misty. They had both grown quite lot. They had been dating for a few years now. Ash travels from region to region still but has been slowing down ever since his Alola League Victory.
Misty grumbled, "And there goes Pikachu. Wish I could go with him."
Ash replied, "Oh calm down." He took the lead as he added, "Let's just head this way."
Misty hissed, "Ash, we will get even more lost and the sun is starting to set!"
Ash gave her a pleading smile and asked, "Can you not trust me?"
Misty sighed as she allowed Ash to go forward. Really, she wanted to go back to where they got lost before it got too dark. But what happened next surprised her.
Ash had gotten to a river, with Pikachu and a Togekiss waiting. Misty was puzzled. Dawn was here? That's when she realized. That was her Togetic. She gasped, about to run over to Togetic when Ash took her hand.
Misty turned to him, seeing his smile, and asked, "You found Togetic, uh, Togekiss?"
Ash added, "And that's not all. Look at this river, Mist."
Misty looked around. It took her a second but the tears instantly came to her eyes. It was the river that she fished Ash out of. Ash took her hands into his.
Misty started to ask, "Ash, why are we...?"
Ash got down on one knee, taking out a small blue box, and showing a beautiful pearl ring. Misty started to cry tears of joy.
Ash told her, "Misty, you have always been there for me since I was 10 years old. Sure, we've bickered and I stole your bike. But if I didn't, I wouldn't have found my perfect match. Misty Kasumi Waterflower, will you marry me?"
Misty was crying happily as she answered, "Yes! I will!"
Ash placed the ring on her finger and found himself in a heated kiss with Misty. Ash kissed her back, the happiest man in the world.
Misty suddenly thought of something. Maybe getting lost wasn't a bad thing after all.
...
I had to do this after yesterday. It needed to be done! I chose a pearl for Misty's stone cause it is the diamond of the sea, if you will. See you tomorrow!
Pokeshipping Week 2017 - Day 2 Jealousy
Both Ash and Misty got jealous pretty easily. Especially when someone else started to flirt with the other.
For Ash, it was Gergorio (Ash never met the kid but swears that he will protect Misty.)
For Misty, it was Bianca (Ash still swears it was Latias.)
One time, the jealousy almost went too far. Ash had always been protective of Ranee Katina since the day they met at the Ribbon Cup.
Misty nearly blew up at Ash for leading her on as much as he did. In fact, the glares she gave poor Ranee during the time almost made her loose a new friend.
Misty was furious, she was starting to feel replaced. She even challenged Ranee to a Pokemon battle. Ranee tried to politely decline but Misty roped her into it.
Ash was about to get in the middle of this catfight. But Brock got up first.
Brock stated, “I’ll be the referee.”
Ranee declined, “No, it’s fine. It will be a one on one battle. No time limits.”
Barry shouted, “Show her what for! Give her a fine, Ranee!”
Dawn’s eyes went wide as she asked Ash, “Is Misty being serious on this?”
Ash answered, a bit sadly, “I guess our plan wasn’t going to work after all.”
Paul and Brock were quiet, both for different reasons. Brock knew this was going too far. As for Paul… Ranee got out a Pokeball.
She threw it and said, “To the curtain, Alakazam!”
With a flash of light, the brown fox appeared as it held its two spoons.
“Ala!” The Psychic type cried.
Misty took out a Lure Ball, threw it and said, “Misty calls Corsola!”
With another flash of light, the coral like creature appeared.
“Corsola!” The Water/Rock type cried.
…
The battle was a long one. The two girls exchanged attack after attack. If it wasn’t for Team Rocket showing up, Ranee would have won.
Misty was about to tell her that the best girl won when she saw Paul kissing Ranee. Misty’s eyes flew open.
“Wait… She’s your girl?” Misty asked, incredulously.
Paul broke the kiss as he explained, “Yes. She’s my girl.”
Misty turned red as her hair in embarrassment. She hated getting jealous so quickly. So when Ash kissed her in that moment, she didn’t know whether to faint…or hit Ash with her mallet for taking so long.
…
Bit of a ‘Sinnoh League Chronicles’ rewrite. (It is a fanfiction of mine where Misty came to watch the Sinnoh League Championship and Ranee was Ash’s final opponent, rather than Tobias.) See you all tomorrow!
Pokeshipping Week 2017 - Day 6 Pikachu's Role in Ash and Misty's relationship
Pikachu has been with Ash since the start. Sure, they didn't get along at first but they eventually worked out their differences. The kid was just lonely after losing his father when he was 9.
Pikachu always was the second introduced to any friend or rival Ash came across. Pikachu knew them all.
Brock. Gary. Tracey. May. Max. Morrison. Dawn. Paul. Ranee. Barry. Iris. Cilan. Trip. Serena. Clemont. Bonnie... There was even the Alola crew. And occasionally Team Rocket.
But none of them were like Misty, Pika chu pi. Pikachu knew Misty the same amount of time Ash did. Misty was always there, even though she bantered with Ash a lot.
Pikachu was sad that Misty left. Though Ash didn't show it, Pikachu did. And Pikachu was always the one to make sure that Ash wrote and called her the most. (Aside from his mom, of course.)
Pikachu has always wanted his Pika pi and his Pika chu pi to be happy together. So it made Pikachu ecstatic when he was finally getting help from Ash's friends.
Pikachu always broke up the fights between the two and always made sure that Marill never walked in on their 'battle time'.
So when Ash asked Pikachu to help him with the proposal to Misty, Pikachu couldn't chirp yes fast enough.
"Of course I want you to be my best man but I don't think Pokemon can do that." Ash lightly teased one time.
"Pika pi." Pikachu deadpanned.
But it was understandable. Ash had Pikachu as the ring bearer at their wedding. Brock was the minister so Gary was Ash's best man. Misty couldn't choose on her bridesmaid, so she had bridesmaids: May, Dawn, and Ranee.
Pikachu had always been there for the couple, even when Misty announced she was pregnant with their first child. After all, Pikachu was happy. And so were his friends...his masters.
...
Well guys, hope you all enjoyed. Hope to see you all on the last day.
Pokeshipping Week 2017 - Day 7 Midnight Conversations
I wish I was an artist for this one. I would draw Misty laying on the couch in the Cerulean City gym. She would be like six months pregnant with Trina, her daughter. She has insomnia from the pregnancy and finds it easier to pass out on the couch. She often talks to the baby, telling her all about her family. It would be so touching to see it come to life. See you all later! Happy Pokeshipping Day!
Pokeshipping Week 2017 - Day 3 If Misty stayed with Rudy
Ash still couldn't believe his ears. Misty was staying...on Trovita Island...with Rudy. His heart broke in two as he lowered his head, his hat covering his eyes.
Tracey saw this as he frowned. Though Ash had beaten Rudy, he looked like he lost a battle. Misty saw this as she stood with Rudy and Marie. Both were happy but for different reasons.
Misty faked a smile at Rudy, feeling badly. Had she made the right choice? Seeing how Ash was right now made Misty almost throw up.
Ash exchanged his farewells (though it pained him to do it) and ran off. Pikachu followed him, looking just as sad. Tracey followed him, after saying his goodbyes, and left.
Misty didn't know why she felt her heart going with Ash.
...
It was a long time before Misty found out the truth about Rudy. Rudy was not only a player but he was also quite the creep. Misty felt betrayed and heartbroken. Misty thought, 'Why was he like this? He was so nice to me when I first arrived.'
Misty was 17 now. She had grown into a beautiful teen. She was just as pretty as her sisters. She had long red hair tied into a high ponytail, she was wearing a yellow short sleeved shirt with blue beads sown into the sleeves, blue jean shorts with yellow zig zags at the bottom, and white sneakers.
She walked out to the patio, to look at her Pokemon. Ever since she decided to stay, she managed to have her Pokemon from the gym come to Rudy's gym.
She had Staryu, Kingdra (Horsea had evolved fully recently), Corsola (she caught it while she was out with Marie), Gyarados (from her sisters), Remoraid (she caught that fishing), and Tenacruel (Rudy gave her that to her on their first anniversary).
Misty sighed sadly. She wished that she never agreed to stay. While she loved Marie, Rudy was falling out of love with love.
Misty turned on the television. She had done everything on the island, more than once. She wanted...more. She wanted...
Speak of the Girantina. Ash was on TV. He was the same age as Misty, wearing his Sinnoh outfit. Misty's heart rate increased. She missed Ash. She wanted Ash. But after all of this time?
Ash was currently in a battle. He was battling a person named Conway. And he was amazing. More so than usual. Had it been six years since they parted ways? What did she give up?
But her heart broke when she saw the battle was over. Ash hugged Brock (when did he get back), a younger girl, a blonde guy, and a brown haired teen their age. He kissed the brown haired girl, making a victory pose.
"I'll make it to the top, Mom! I'll make Dad proud!" Ash declared to the tv. "With the help of my friends and girlfriend!" He added.
"Although you are going down if we battle." The girl promised, a smile on his face.
"Bring it on, Ranee. Bring it on." Ash stated, proudly.
Misty turned off the tv. What just happened? She instantly felt defeated. Of course he would have moved on. It had been 6 years, after all. What she didn't know was Rudy had saw the whole thing.
Rudy smirked, walking away from the door. He walked into his office, closing the door behind him. He took a box out of the bottom of the desk. He opened it and there were a lot of letters in it. All from Ash. Rudy stuffed another letter into it, closing the lid, and putting away.
It was almost time.
...
Sorry for the delay on this one. Also sorry I didn't have a happy ending but I thought this was an interesting ending. See you all tomorrow!
