Was organising my art files by dating them and remembered I used to do Pokesweet redesigns for fun. So I pulled out the sprite sheet and redid a few :)

Also in light of Mega Victreebell being showcased, here's a Mega Fiztreebell too:

I finally picked up enough speed to work on enough Pokesweet redesigns to post. Personally, I like how Buizert and Tortewig's line turned out, even though I was winging the design for the latter.

Also, changed the names for Sherzel and Migum + Goman, because those are. Not really great names.

[start id 1]: A redraw of Piestoise from the Pokemon Romhack Pokemon Sweet. Instead of having a teenage mutant ninja turtle head, Piestoise head is now more shaped like Blastoise, with triangle cream ears. Its stomach is more of a pie pattern, and it has a leaf tail instead. [end id 1]

[start id 2]: A redraw of Liganium, now renamed Megorice. Its skin is now light pink, with its antennae being licorice, and its collar flowers being licorice flower petals and its tail being an unbloomed licorice flower. [end id 2]

[start id 3]: A redraw of Chocolite, Chocolish and Icesundae, the last of which has been renamed to Sundilluxe. The body of all of them have been changed to a light brown colour to lean into the chocolate typing. All of them also have cherries on them, with Chocolite having a cherry on top while Chocolish and Sundilluxe has cherries for eyes to lean into the secondary cherry typing. [end id 3]

[start id 4]: A redraw of Mudpie, Fudgestomp, and Swamptart. It removes the pie aspect completely from their lower bodies, instead putting the pie design into their stomach and the orange parts of Swamptart (similar to Swampert). The typing has also been changed to Apple, with apple slices being on top their heads and their tail for Swamptart specifically. The whiskers it has have been replaced with chocolate cream. While I’m not playing my nuzlockes on my very legit Gameboy Advance, I sometimes play Poke Sweets, a cute game where all the pokemon are sweet related. And I love how cute it is but some of them... are a little weird, to put it nicely. So I tried my hand at doodling redesigns for them, because I’m not the greatest at Pokemon designs in general.

I changed some of the names for them too to be more apt, but yeah, here are my redesigns and the original sprites next to them.

[start id 1]: A redraw of Cottomoth from the Pokemon Romhack Pokemon Sweets. The new design has more defined cotton candy bumps in its wings, and its head being made of the same thing in the shape of the usual Venomoth head. Its abdomen is now more of a cone shape that holds its cotton candy body. [end id 1]

[start id 2]: A redraw of Spinacake and Ariacake, now renamed as Spandanrak and Ariadodol. The cake aspect is mostly removed, with Spandanrak's body being a red and green pandan cake, and Ariadodol's body being a red dodol. [end id 2]

[start id 3]: A redraw of Cookietot and Cookietune. The redesigns lean more into the cherry aspect of the both of them, with the collars and hands of Cookietot being more cookie dough, and the mustache of Cookietune being the same. The antennae of Cookietot is now replaced with cherry leaves, while Cookietune leans more into candy canes. [end id 3]

[start id 4]: A redraw of Mintret and Furmint. Mintret's design is still relatively the same but with white tipped paws and green in the inside of its ears, but Frumint's design now has orange lining its back. [end id 4]

Some more Pokemon Sweet redesigns, though this one sort of fell off the rails because I started struggling with colours and making it pretty at the same time. But these are just casual doodles so it’s alright.
