What was that that Pokewilds game you posted about? I haven't seen that before, is it any good?

Hey, YES! YES IT IS!

PokeWilds is a fangame (not a romhack) that features procedurally generated maps using the Gen2 sprites/tiles and places the player on a beach of a random region that is devoid of people but populated by wild pokemon.

It's basically a pokemon survival game with

friendly and unfriendly pokemon

day and night cycles

multiple biomes, which are being added to even now

non-move-tied HMs which allow you to cut trees down, surf, fly, teleport, and even ride on your pokemon

legendaries, shinies, and the freedom to explore WHEREVER because the wild pokemon levels grow with you (*some restrictions apply)

also the freedom to steal eggs from poke-parents and then narrowly escape with your life as you fucking BOOK IT I'M SO SORRY VENASAUR I JUST WANTED A BULBASAUR BABY I'M SORRY I PROMISE I'LL TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT I SWEAR OH GODOHGODOHGOD

I've been having lots of fun with it on my off time, and it's honestly REALLY impressive how well put together this is. I only got a game-breaking bug ONCE and I was able to go into de-bug mode and get myself out of it, so.

The next stream is scheduled for 10 PM local / 4 PM Eastern US.

I didn't get to do the regularly scheduled one Tuesday night, because I had to be up too early. So, that is bumped over to today instead.

This will be the second session, starting into a new world after I hadn't played the game at all for quite a while. Last time, I found a decent spot to set up a likely temporary initial base, and this time I plan to explore more inland from there and meet more Pokémon along the way.

PokeWilds is a procedurally generated sandbox game based on the Pokémon franchise. Much like Minecraft, the world is divided into biomes and you can find different Pokémon in different biomes. Fully explore the world, build houses, structures, farms, pens for your Pokémon... You decide!

But, anyone who might be interested is very welcome to drop by on Twitch later. I will probably be on for a few hours, starting from the awkward 10 PM European Central / 4 PM Eastern US, to chat or just watch me be tired and autistic. This time with added Pokémon to sweeten the deal!

played pokewilds for the first time today and IT'S SO GOOD OMG

just renovated and added more pens to my enclosures~ i had to combine several and might have to do so with the other small pens later as i accumulate more pokemon. but the forest and beach pens desperately needed to be enlarged (and the beach pens are still split into 3 cuz the water takes up a lot of space too)

im not intentionally breeding anything other than the mareep, corsola, and maybe the corphish. the rest are just eggs i pick up still cuz i don't mind. but i'll likely separate the mons breeding later if they become a hassle to keep up with

here's my house tho and the egg pen (it's very noisy considering they're eggs)

I currently have 20 different OCs, ten of them are just a shit ton of fades on WoF Roblox, while the other ten are random generator/Picrew/WoF Roblox

fades won't be too crazy while generated will be nuts, please don't hate on me for my generated OCs 😭

also been reading WoF graphic novels, almost done with 7, are there any more graphic novels after 7 yet? I don't wanna wait forever to read the next book and I struggle to read normal books
