Testing my Polagraph drawbot

I few months ago I posted about making TRS Drawbot, which was great fun. Since then, I've moved on from that simple arm and have been experimenting with a "hanging V"-style drawbot called Polargraph designed by Sandy Noble.

I still have plenty of fiddling to do before I've mastered the software controller and ironed out the kinks in the hardware I've cobbled together, but it's been a lot of fun building my first Arduino-based project.

In the future I hope to collaborate with others and produce some mixed-media work involving digital input (for the robot to draw), pen-on-paper output from the Polagraph, and then perhaps watercolour or other media on top of that. But we'll see!
