Small Pole Cat Appreciation Post
With Guest-Star Max Rockatansky
Hello Everyone!!
I’ve been absent. Not completely absent, but technically, I’ve been absent. I don’t think it’s fair to say I’ve been here when I’ve really just been mindlessly sharing whatever I’ve posted on Instagram, on here as well, because it’s so easy and convenient. Posting just to post something. I’m struggling, but I can’t let you all know, right? So, posting the slow progress I’m making on a project on Instagram, and then hitting that “share with Facebook and tumblr” button makes me feel like people still see me as being somewhat productive.
Being creative and getting motivated has been really hard for me lately. I’ve come to the conclusion that I may have some sort of depression/anxiety thing going on...but to know that for sure, I would have to go to a doctor, which costs money lol, and even then, I wouldn’t want to feel pressured into taking any sort of medication that would “help”. So...I’ve just been tired, and hermitting at home when I’m not working...forcing myself to do the most basic things for myself (it’s a freaking miracle when I can make my bed in the morning, perform basic hygiene (TMI...but oh well) ) I’ve started taking some natural supplements that were recommended to me by someone who is sort of going through the same thing last week in hopes that I can kind of balance myself out without having to take any kind of zombie medication. I’ve slowly been getting back to a better state of being, it’s just so damn hard....I don’t know how to explain it, but everything, even the easiest, most mundane things feels so hard to get through, and that’s what makes me feel so freakishly tired all the time.
Anyway, even through this little bout I’m going through, I’ve tried to keep up with some of my art. My “unmotivated-ness” is also sort of stemming from the fact that I feel like I haven’t made that much progress in my art, career wise. The business side of things is just something I am NOT grasping and it is unbelievably frustrating, I feel so dumb. I’ve definitely made progress in my art as far as skill, I have grown, but the lack of income, and growth in the career part of it, is making me question if I should really be pursuing this, if I’m just wasting my time, if it’s even worth it, if I’m really as good as I think I am, what’s the point??? An existential crisis all around haha,
So, I’m just trying to get myself out of the quicksand. Here are a couple pictures of progress on a current project. Enjoy cats on poles.
I’ve been looking for ref of this guy forever bless IG
There is SO MUCH GOING ON in this picture!
First of all, a nice daylight shot of the Buzzard vehicles on top of the big hauler. And also, to the right there are two instances of Polecats trying to climb up the poles to hook down their knocked out / dead buddies. You can see them trying this all throughout the scene, and I love that this is a thing. Does that mean that one of the counterweights are also backup polecats? Just waiting for their turn?
Pirates and Temptation Island
Last July 2, 2011, (Yes, I know it's such a super late post :)) Beer Below Zero was invited at the Dennis' birthday celebration, Tessa Prieto's husband. The theme was super cool, PIRATES! Tagged with the birthday celebration was like a launching party of the remake of Temptation Island casting Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Solenn Heussaff, Lovi Poe, Ruffa Mae Quinto and John Lapus.
Solenn had a really pretty voice.
And guys, if you haven't watched it, grab yourselves a copy because it's super funny! And oh, Divine Lee was there with her super fab outfit, and of course Tessa's the mermaid of the night!
Check out Beer Below Zero! :) If you haven't tried BBZ, you're missing out on a lot. Check our Facebook fanpage, we've got 57,000 plus fans! :)
And the last highlight of the night, the POLECATS! They were amazing!
And here's the BBZ team :)
Emil, I, Fio and mareng John.
Cheers!
