Pole Choreo for Michael Jackson’s Dirty Diana

We worked 3 weeks on the choreo and then we got to dress up and perform in small groups.

Doing workshops to improve my performances and push me out of my comfort zone. I’d recommend every new poler to go and take extra workshops and if you can, take them from skrippers and s€x workers. I’m so pleased with how my shoulder rolls are coming along and how despite the few mess ups I actually managed this all in 7” heels 😅

I literally just learned choreography to this in my Dancing Queen pole class last night.

I love some of the moves in this one. Amazing how different people from all over can come up with very similar choreography at certain parts of the song.

My most recent snippet of choreography. 

If competitions didn’t require aerial work, I would stay down low all day long. The use of the floor is one of several reasons pole is my favorite apparatus. 

Lots of break dance inspiration here. ^_^ So much fun making this. I dream of being a real choreographer one day.

Some choreography I taught for class a few weeks back. 

Been trying to introduce my students to some odd or unique ways of moving...basically just trying to do things that are simple but not necessarily the typical type of “pole dancing” that they are familiar with. 

This phrase proved to be challenging for a lot of them.

So I just submitted this for my Melee on the Bayou audition. I’m not super proud of it but it isn’t the wrst thing I’ve done. Hopefully this will be decent enough to make it in.
