I can only imagine how silly Ares and Polemos' relationship is, the god of war and the divine manifestation of war. I can't even say their rivals because Polemos' actual rival is Dionysus. Maybe they have this really sad one-sided rivalry going on. Polemos is just some homeless god who decided he was gonna be the god of war, but with hookers and blow and somehow everyone kept fucking up until he got what he wanted

When Polemos was looking for a wife, he struggled to find one, and wed with Hybris because she was the only one left. He eventually fell in love with her and followed her wherever she wanted, indicating that nations should never allow Hybris to come along for them for if they did war would not be far behind.
