Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral is now on Netflix!

The sequel to Heneral Luna, Jerrold Tarog's movie focuses on the consequences of losing a great general, and the famous "Boy General," Gregorio del Pilar.

It's about Gregorio del Pilar, the "Batang Heneral"/"Boy General" of The Philippines, a known playboy amongst women in the time, and President Emilio Aguinaldo's favorite. This movie tackles topics like idolatry (discussed in the short, Angelito, that connects the two films), distractions, and more.

As The Philippines begin to lose the war, we find out about certain people that may or may not be mentioned in our previous history books.

The film is in tagalog/filipino but don't worry, for it has subtitles, so you could understand it better.
