Sorry I've been largely absent since the tourney ended! I kinda ran out of steam for this kind of thing on top of a suddenly very busy job 😅
I wanna thank you all for sticking around with me!
I still have a few ideas for a new competition, but in the interim I thought we'd do something fun!
I want you all to send me your most creative nicknames for certain pokemon! Ones you're proud of or just your stand by names! I'll be adding my own as well 😁
I'll be posting the name and the 'mon and letting people vote on how well it fits the Pokémon! (Don't worry none of the options will be disparaging or rude)
This is all in good fun, you all were wonderful through the whole tournament, let's keep up the good will and have some fun with everyone's creativity!!
Basic rules:
Send the name in an ask (anon or not, they won't be answered! I'll tag non-anonymous submissions though! Unless you ask me not to!)
Do NOT respond to this post with a name! I won't be accepting those sorry!
Give the reason for the nickname! Is it based on a character? Some convoluted reason you picked that name? Whatever it is let's hear it!
You're welcome to send a picture of said Pokémon, but no fanart please unless it's your own!!
The names can be from anything, a game you played or just a headcanon of what you'd give a certain 'mon
You can send as many names as you like in the ask, but try not to go too overboard! I'll see how many submissions I get, and let you know if I'm not going to use all the ones you sent for some reason! (As long as you send off anon or give me a blog to dm!)
There are things I'll not accept of course. Racism or lgbt+ phobic responses, things like that. I'll be using my own judgement, but like I said let's keep this fun. Please just don't even send things like that in thanks.
