FURTHERMORE! percy clawing his way to camp jupiter and it’s a camp kinda like what he’s looking for but it’s different and so far removed from the ocean as opposed to chb who settled on long island right next to the sea. percy feeling so unsettled but also terrified because he’s still scared of heights and they are…thousands of feet in the air. along with jason feeling unsettled at chb bc they’re far below the sky of his father’s domain and closer to the underworld and sea.

Man, what a great ending to a very good series of books. Yeah it's kind of a shame the world wasn't explored any more with any other books but at least the series ended off at such a high point and, let's be real, was any more really needed? A long-running franchise wouldn't have really suited pjo anyways, at least we can all enjoy a really good series, even with just five books
