Also, the maths of third party voting doesn't work out. America has some lame arse set up that means if you vote third party, it is equal to voting for the candidate least like your third party choice. That's why people often help fund 3rd party candidates with opposite views to them

oh no i knew that its just.. very discouraging to like young voters (i guess i might be just speaking for myself here D:) to hear “your vote matters but no not that one” and its just such a harmful setup to where literally Voting For the Lesser Evil is just a normal thing like thats what u expect and thats scary!! i don’t know nearly enough though so i would have no idea how the election process as it is that favors just a decision between 2 parties would be dismantled how it could be changed how voting wouldn’t be a This Evil Person or That Evil Person ??? i’m sorry if this response is just... super naive ???

Hey, as an Australian I'm probably not qualified to weigh in except to say that I am scared shirtless by Trump. I'm scared of the racist attitudes he stirs up even all the way over here. I am more scared of gender/race based violence occurring than I have been my entire life. I know it seems like the whole lesser of two evils thing but it's not really. For indigenous people/poc like me, for people already in disadvantage, it is life and death.

i should have answered this first but thank u for replying at all!! its what i wanted plus i think that it’s a decision that doesn’t just affect americans obviously so like... your imput is valued!! i definitely cannot even.. conceive how bad trumps presidency would be/ how it would affect poc and other marginalized groups!! i don’t want to undermine that by asking how hilary would harm the same people??? i feel like this is all badly worded i’m rlly sorry!! I’M SORRY I DIDN’T really say anything of worth here i rlly need to read up on hilarys policies/former decisions.. i think it just bothers me that the conversation about hilary’s crimes and how she doesn’t value the lives of people outside the US always veers in the same direction of “so you’d rather have trump?” and that’s definitely not it at all

What made you decide to get a Tumblr: I was at a friend’s place and everyone nagged me to get Tumblr, so I begrudgingly agreed. Now I’m more prolific and have more followers than any of them :/ Do you get asks on a daily basis: Not daily, but I always get at least one or two every time I post a new one-shot (which I haven’t done in a while. I’m sorry!) Why did you choose your URL: My pseudonym on 1DFF has been GleekPlusDirectioner for many years. When I got Tumblr, I tried to make that my URL, but something went wrong in the process so I had to swap the two fandoms around. If you go to the URL gleekplusdirectioner, you’ll find an empty blog that I can’t access to delete. I’ve thought about changing my URL a few times, but everyone knows me by this one, and going back through my blog to change all the links would be a bloody nightmare, so I’m stuck with it :P
