Saturday we were blessed to be presenters at a workshop offered by SCF-Organic a network of farmers in the Sumter, SC area led by The Mustafa family. We’ve attended the quarterly workshops several times and have been presenters now twice. We have learned much from the keynote speakers and enjoyed lovely fellowship and encouragement from the group. Our presentation featured agricultural practices we use here on the farm to include @usda_nrcs programs. We were able to share about our #seasonalhightunnel , #dripirrigation , #pollinatormeadow, #beekeeping , #poultry , #pasturedpoultry, and #marketing for #smallfarms . Dr. Roy Hollingsworth was the keynote, one we’ve learned so much from, he is a skilled teacher and mentor. We are grateful for the opportunity to share and learn more while attending the workshop. We were also treated to a delicious meal.
