The world according to Kiepscy I, Wrocław, January 2021.
The most known fictional inhabitants of Bermuda Triangle neighbourhood in Wrocław are the family of Kiepscy and their neighbours. Świat według Kiepskich, originally inspired by series such as Married… with Children and alike, is a TV series aired since 1999 by Polsat television and produced by ATM Studio. Originally written by Janusz Sadza, the script was based on his experiences of living in Bermuda Triangle himself. Even though the description places action in Osiedle Kosmonautów neighbourhood, the inspiration taken from the architecture of and popular opinion about Bermuda Triangle is clearly visible. Inhabitants of fictional tenant house located under non-existent address of Ćwiartki 3/4 (a pun on vodka bottles) slowly gained recognition of a well-crafted satire on the stereotype of polish identity.
An excerpt form the Anew series about the identity of contemporary Lower Silesia region of Poland.
Thank you, Måneskin, for bringing equality to this sad and horribly homophobic country.
