Im so tired of monogamous people making polyam posts about them constantly

I'll see a page somewhere being like "who else here is polyam? ♡♡" and the comments are filled with monogamous people going "oh i couldnt be polyam bc i have trust issues, im too jealous, im too possessive, etc, etc."

Or "oh i tried being polyam once but it's just not for me :)"

And it's so extremely annoying. Just shut the fuck up please.

I take no issue with the people who say "oh I'm not but i support yall!! ♡" bc even though the post is asking about polyam people, i enjoy seeing support without them also listing every single reason why "they could never."

But the ppl who use that post as an opportunity to break down all the reasons why they're not polyam. Or the men who come in being like "i could never share my woman with another man but other women are fine lol." Or the ppl in general who are like "oh i could never share lol" are SO DAMN ANNOYING.

Just please shut the fuck up. Not everything has to be about you and your trust issues or your misogynistic one penis policy or your whole life story explaining why it's not for you.

Let polyam ppl be polyam in peace. Let polyam ppl find a community with each other in peace. Let polyam ppl make positivity posts to make other polyam ppl feel safe or validated in peace.

Quit making it about you. I'm not saying never comment on these posts at all. But polyam ppl are so fucking tired of a request for polyam friends or a positivity post or a casual mention of their partners turning into monogamous people's time to take the stage and, fuck idk, complain abt how their friend got lied to by a "polyam" partner who cheated.

Quit doing it. Please and thanks.

Polyamorous people are amazing and I support each and everyone of you and the beautiful way you love! 

I sincerely apologize if anyone has ever made you feel ashamed or out of place or wrong for simply living your life in a way that makes you happiest! You have never and will never deserve such vile treatment!

Because I've been arguing with people for 2 days abt this subject, here we go.

If you think polyamory is "glorified cheating"

If you think it's okay to tell polyamorous people that polyam relationships never work/that their relationship will never work

If you think it's okay for a monogamous person to try to force a polyam person into a mono relationship with them

If you think polyam people inherently can't/don't actually love their partners

If for some weird damn reason you claim polyamory is just "friends with benefits" (?????) or sleeping around

Get the fuck away from me and stay away

Idk if I've mentioned it on here before because I'm not on here much lately, but im polyamorous. And this blog supports polyamory.

If other polyam ppl wanna reblog this and use it as a vent post for frustrating things you've heard ppl say abt polyamory or just add to it, go for it ♡
