In their recent ad campaign, Polycade claims that "cheaper home arcades" all break within months of purchase.. my eldest cab is my Mortal Kombat 30th anniversary edition which is 2 years old and I'm still enjoying and modding it..

I think what they said is hyperbole to push their more expensive product.. *knocks on particle board* 😅💜🕹️

They also claim there's are better because they use suzo happ parts.. I use commercial grade control parts too..

I had several arcade games in my living room many years ago and they are heavy and take up more space than you'd think. However, I've never really liked the bar-top MAME cabs I've seen and the full size cabs don't always fit in with modern design and layout in the average house. The Polycade uses a wall-mounting system similar to many HD TVs with a cross-hatch metal bracket secured to the wall and the Polycade. This lets it have a minimal depth of only 17 inches and you can customize the height of the unit. Additionally, it has two 8-way joysticks and one 4-way stick for the older games. 最新可玩 PS 遊戲！Polycade 街機採用掛牆式設計更慳位

昨日我們曾經提過由於街機太大部並不適合擺放在家中，所以有海外團隊就設計出一款可以放在手掌上的迷你街機 Tiny Arcade。不過若然大家真的想要大大部街機而又想慳位，其實亦並非沒有可能，因為最近有另一團隊就製作出一部 Polycade 街機，其最大特點是在保留原有街機的設計外，同時更採用掛牆式設計。

單看外觀來看，Polycade 感覺上反而有點似一件裝飾品，而且它亦的確比起一般街機慳位得多，因為掛於牆上後只有 52 吋高，而闊度及深度亦只有 30 及 17 吋。至於控制器的設計亦相當獨特，皆因左右兩側除設有 8 方向及 6 按鈕的 1P 與 2P Joystick 外，中間更設有一個 4 方向及 2 按鈕的舊式 Joystick，可以用來玩諸如 Atari 的經典遊戲。

收錄平台方面，據知 Polycade 將會內置多款不同模擬器，支援的種類多達 30 種，由 Atari 800、紅白機、GameBoy、PC Engine 到 PS1 的遊戲都可以玩得到。至於遊戲方面，Polycade 出貨時將會預載超過 100 款遊戲，再加上系統採用開源式設計，因此往後只需透過 SD 卡便可加入更多遊戲。

Polycade 現正於 Kickstarter 上進行集資，但價格卻不算便宜，因為官方建議零售價每部為 1,950 美元（約 15,113 港元），而且 1,250 及 1,350 美元的優惠價版本已被搶購一空，目前最平就只剩下 1,450 美元（約 11,238 港元）一部。
