And another week of High Potential "High-atus", another little treat for the fandom

High Potential + Text Posts Part 1/??? (as I hope this show lives-long-and-prospers #RenewHighPotential #HighPotentialS3 but if I'm gonna keep doing this I'm going to need some easier access to screencaps or w/e so I don't have to just rely on promo pictures or "let's hope I screenshot this gif at a non-awkward moment" (or do weird awkward mash-up-y shit like I did for that Karadec and Soto one as one text post fit both) for most of these which (along with what text posts I found and who fit them) explains why most of these are focused on Morgan)

I wanna see domestic polycrimes. Like Daphne is sitting in Oz's lap braiding Morgan's hair, Morgan has her legs thrown across both Soto's and Karadec's laps and they're watching a shitty movie

Is ABC just drip-feeding us poly representation crumbs, first Doctor Odyssey, then that whole thing with the club episode of 911, now new ABC show RJ Decker having the titular PI mention him and his bi ex-wife used to entertain the occasional third party (in a way I couldn't tell if was some kind of attempt to get said ex-wife's detective rebound (who I swear in more than just race and hair gives off a vibe her actress could also play a young Selena Soto) to be said third party). I know some of this could be construed as not-that-good representation but baby steps baby steps remember where gay representation started. It's also interesting that all this is ABC, it's like they're trying to slow-walk us to something like polycrimes by getting us gradually used to the idea of that sort of relationship

Tfw one AU idea ends up spiraling into another

Specifically I was thinking about the idea I had a while back for some High Potential soulmate!au where the main five are all each others' soulmates and when I was trying to think through what kind of soulmate-indicator-thingie to use I thought of the example I gave of the one where your soulmate's first touch leaves a colored mark on your skin. However, even if these aren't the best-fitting colors enough for the characters that I'd use them in such an AU I noticed something about colors that'd fit these characters when put together; they freaking fit sentai/power-ranger colors (at least for lineups without a black one which might just mean they'd also fit whatever the gender-neutral equivalent of a magical girl team is). Specifically Morgan is pink (not just because she's a girl or wears it a lot), Adam is blue, Daphne is yellow, Oz is green and Selena is red

Now I'm wondering how to try and make an AU like that work (as for those who want to like shows like this but hate that they're cop shows, they're still fighting crime if it's magical girl or tokusatsu or w/e)
