Quick breakdown of Ambrose in the modern au under the cut:

Education: Went to public middle school (where they met Caspian), homeschooled high school. Appreciate to their father at the family forge (Istvhan’s Forge).

Work: Took over as head smith at the forge at age 20 due to their father struggling with arthritis. The two now co own the business together. “Istvhan’s Forge” works primarily on historical replicas for museums, movies and tv shows, and LARPs. They also make fantasy replicas and take commissions. They have a booth at local fairs where they sell smaller works.

Relationship: Long term partner of Reto and Osla who they met in their early 20s after joining their (and Ruskin’s) band (The Mourn Watchers).

Living situation: Split 30/70 between their father’s and their apartment with their partners.

Fun facts:

Reserves Sundays for band practice and hang outs with their band mates.

Has a private mincraft server with their partners where they primarily mine and fight mobs. (Or stage rescue missions with Reto to save Osla from lava) Caspian joins on occasion.

Semi fluent in Orlesian as started learning after meeting Osla (wanted to impress both her and her parents)

Did LARPing as a kid.

History nerd (specifically anything pre-guns), complains about inaccuracies in historical movies.

Very amateur jewellery maker.

Favourite super hero is Superman. Favourite movie series is Lord of the Rings.

Likes watching documentaries.

Still can’t swim.
