So, Polyvore Is Dead 💔

This was very unexpected!!! I think most of us (poly members) are still processing what just happened and trying to figure out how to get in contact with our poly friends, people we followed and people who followed us. 

First of all please visit by May 10, 2018:  account-update.polyvore.com  to send a request to download your content (Polyvore doesn´t specify what “content” means - probably sets, maybe collections, we can only hope it will include messages, comments and people you followed, but I´m affraid our items and drafts are gone forever).

If you feel like voicing your oppinion on the matter (or just yelling) here you go: Polyvore (Instagram, Twitter) and SSENSE (Instagram, Twitter). Here is a news release from Ssense and there is an e-mail adress at the bottom if you want to try that. And there is a change.org petition. Other than that I don´t know what else to do. Out of so many ways to do this they picked the worse one.

It feels very strange, like we left things unresolved, no goodbye, no plans to meet elsewhere - other site, no nothing... I´m not good at many (or any) things, but I loved making sets and Polyvore was a great community with many awesome people, so I was petri5, if the name doesn´t ring a bell, don´t worry (I´m bad with names too), here are some of my sets, perhaps you´ll recognize one of them or my style. If you want to contact me and you are here on tumblr send me a question (my inbox is open) or simply message me :D, here is my Instagram (I´m still new there) or you can just send an e-mail: [email protected] . Or if you managed to save some of your sets make a collage, add your poly-name (avatar) and post them on your own or reblog. Maybe you´ll find who you´re looking for or who is looking for you!

I know this issue has little to do with my royal tumblr account (although I posted few of my royal sets here too - Diana, Rania, Catherine, Maxima, Claire - I think you can still find them in royal-roaster archive) but I feel very strongly about this, so please be patient with me (even if I reblog this several times)!

Polyvore

I’m so upset about this Polyvore mess! I’ve been on their for almost 9 years! Hundreds and hundreds of sets and thousands of followers and I’ve gotten over a million views and likes. It was a place that people who like fashion and those in the fashion industry used to create ideas. Used it as a creative outlet. They took that away without warning. So much effort put into sets and they are just gone overnight. It’s wrong, simple as that. You would see an outfit you liked and then could make your own version. All the groups and group contest, just taken from us by a company that honestly didn’t give a fuck about the Polyvore community. We need it back! Make them give it back to us.
