Mam dosyć przykrą wiadomość otóż mój lekarz zrobił mi badania i okazało się, że mam cukrzycę typu 1, na razie jestem jeszcze w szoku, ale powoli muszę pomyśleć o jakimś glukometrze, możecie mi coś poradzić? 

Kompletnie się na tym nie znam, czytam ostatnio http://anngieinwonderland.blogspot.com/2017/06/cukrzyca-cicha-i-grozna-choroba-na.html, jest tam też sporo info o glukometrach. Nie chcę się za bardzo się kłuć, więc postawię na glukometr elektryczny.

Ludzki instynkt w pomiarze online

Gdybym powiedział, że temperatura ciała żółwia wynosi 29 stopni, mógłbyś ocenić jego stan zdrowia?

Jeśli nie wiesz jaka jest jego normalna temperatura, nie wiesz jak interpretować tę liczbę.

W pomiarze efektów komunikacji online mamy do dyspozycji mnóstwo mierników i danych. Ale inaczej niż w marketingu bezpośrednim, mamy małe lub zerowe pojęcie co znaczą te liczby i jak odnoszą się do skutecznej komunikacji PR.

Z drugiej strony, oceniając fakty kierujemy się też uczuciami i intuicją. Ale ponieważ są to "narzędzia" pozbawione naukowej precyzji, odsuwamy je na dalszy plan.

Kultura i perswazja online

Ludzie, którzy wiedzą, że pracujemy w PR pytają nas czy podoba nam się ten czy tamten billboard lub plakat. Ale nikt nie pyta co sądzimy o tym czy tamtym banerze w Internecie.

Kampania informacyjna w telewizji zawsze wywołuje dreszczyk emocji – podobnej kampanii online (na przykład premierze firmowego bloga) nie towarzyszy takie podniecenie.

Uważamy, że popularność Internetu jako medium kształtującego kulturę, przenosi się jednocześnie na jego skuteczność w marketingowej perswazji. Jak na razie, nie widzę takich dowodów.

Wmawiamy sobie, że konsumenci mają czas i wolę myszkowania w Internecie w poszukiwaniu "treści" (cokolwiek to ma znaczyć), które – my i tysiące nam podobnych firm – tworzymy, żeby zwiększyć sprzedaż. Tymczasem, klienci wykazują mniej niż umiarkowane zainteresowanie "treściami", które tak właściwie są inną formą reklamy.

Nauka oślepia

Większość statystyk kampanii internetowych wygląda poważnie i naukowo, bo pokazują liczby. Ale to nie ma nic wspólnego z naukowym pomiarem do chwili kiedy nie potrafimy zinterpretować wyników. Liczby bez kontekstu nie mają znaczenia.

To tak jak zmierzyć temperaturę żółwia bez wiedzy jaki wynik jest normalny.

Dopóki nie poznamy znaczenia tych liczb i nie połączmy ich logicznie z efektami perswazji i komunikacji online, dopóty lepiej traktować je z dystansem i okazywać więcej zaufania własnym oczom i instynktowi.

Deamon AU / Qui-Gon's notes

Hi, it’s me again, really sorry for annoying you so often I just want to share this plot bunny with someone as it keeps biting my toes…

Qui-Gon’s deamon settles when he is barely 14 years old. His deamon is a lion. His parents are exaspareted and Qui himself finds the new form quite inconvenient. Generally, predator daemons and their owners are considered to be aggressive, uncontrollable, prone to violence and most of all dangerous to society. Qui-Gon himself, at his height and stature, is quite intimidating, coupled with having a lion as a physical manifestation of his soul, no wonder people hand him their wallets immediately, when they spot him coming down the street at the middle of the night. Because of this, Qui-Gon and his daemon (can’t think of a name yet) have a hard time throughout high school, but by the time Qui graduates they both have accepted one another for who they are. Still their problems don’t quite end there. Qui gets accepted into medical school and graduates with honors, despite many of his teachers trying to discourage him from continuing pursuing his dream. They warn him that no matter how hard he tries, people will always be prejudiced towards him and his daemon. Their words prove too true as Qui is not accepted into any internship program despite his achievements. This is a serious blow to Qui-Gon for he is truly gentle, caring and deeply cares for others. At the end he accepts a position as an army doctor and is shipped away soon afterwards. For quite sometime they both serve for their country. And there, in the dessert, Qui’s deamon is never looked upon with fear or disdain ( for most soldiers have predatory animals for daemons as well). They both feel like they have finally found a place they belong, still Qui-Gon finds the war by itself distasteful and pointless. During a mission gone wrong both Qui and his daemon are badly injured themselves and forced to return back home. After their recovery they both, once again, struggle to be accepted. In the end Qui decides there is only one choice left to him and his daemon. By the time he meets Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon has been working as a paramedic for an year, even though his colleagues were a bit intimidated by him at the beginning, once again he proves to be a valuable asset.

His friends are not happy with his decision, for they view him working as a mere paramedic a waste of his talents, Qui has long since learned to ignore their concerns and is finally content (not truly happy until he meets Obi though bcuz I’m shipper trash)

Qui trying so hard. He doesn’t want people to be scared of him!! It’s not his fault!! Tahl, finding him in the library in tears one afternoon, because he’s just. So. Done.

And Tahl holds him close and strokes his hair and just tells him “I love you, Qui, it’s going to be okay, I promise.”
