Phoenix stared at the number on his cellphone, wondering if his friend would help. He finally had the funds (sort of) and the time, but would it be too short notice? Would he horribly mess this up somehow? Swallowing her nervousness, he dials the number for a certain prosecuting friend. Not his mentor, but... an old friend.

For the first rings, there is no answer. Then the phone is fumbled for, and a very sleepy, familiar voice mumbles, “Whozzat…?”
