I haven't roleplayed on Tumblr before, and am rather unsure of how it works. Can you explain it to me pleases and thankyou's uwu~

Probably the first step is to come up with your character and their basic information, as outlined here. A face-claim is a person (usually an actor/actress) that you choose to represent what your character looks like. A lot of people use 100x100px icons as reaction images, just to show the other writer what your character’s expression looks like at that moment.

In order for you to be able to interact, you have to create a totally new blog (not just a sideblog from your personal) so you can properly reply/send asks, and generally get the full experience. If you need an example of what this looks like, you can look at mine or Katy’s.

Regarding the actual interactions, you’ll start off by following all the other members of Elendel United. Then it works the way you would reply to another person’s post on Tumblr—reblog the post, add in your icon (if you’re using them) and your character’s reply. Here is an example of a starter post (which can be of varying length), and here is an example of a typical reply. We like to cut them after one response because it’s a lot neater and saves you a lot of scrolling.

(As you can see, some of us do fancy formatting with the text, but this isn’t necessary, and if you do want to give it a shot, everyone is very friendly and would be more than willing to give you a few pointers!)
