okay so mont and marius oh my god. i could talk to you for hours about these two fucking nerdlords

firstly love triangles are stupid so fuck montparnasse pining after eponine while eponine pines after marius f u c k that. instead of that, mont should totally just fuck marius. eliminate eponine's role in this (she's way too cool for both of them anyway tbh)

my headcanon marius is redmayne and i HC that les amis call him Freckles, and i also headcanon that montparnasse has light freckles that he covers up with concealer bc he doesn't like them, so- otp: freckles

i like the idea of marius coming to parnasse to emotionally wreck himself (because i looove unhealthy relationships) but i also really love the idea of parnasse finding a better side to himself with marius' help, especially since parnasse is one of the most moral characters of patron-minette

in modern aus, i want parnasse to teach marius how to smoke by shotgunning with him. i also want parnasse to dress marius in colours other than black ("that's my thing, giraffe"), and whenever marius wears something nice i want parnasse to steal it

SPEAKING OF GIRAFFE. my hc mont is usually short and freckly and since marius is eddie redmayne he's taller so parnasse calls him giraffe

they're not really my otp for either person but they're a huge guilty pleasure ship for me, especially in the canon :D
