something about pony telling johnny his parents don't want him earlier in the book and dallas' frustration with johnny for bothering about his parents missing him later on.
Dallas taking Pony to the movies. Because Pony seems kinda bummed and he'll probably go anyway and Darry might get less mad at the kid if Dallas invites him to the movies.
You can decide if they sneak in or pay for it, but I'm betting sneaking.
Dallas lets Pony pick the movie. Dallas doesn't really care for movies so he's mostly keeping a balance of bothering/teasing Pony just enough that the kid can still enjoy/watch the movie. But still bother him bc Dallas gets bored.
His favorite is watching Pony react to the movie, especially when he can tell that Pony's face turned red in the dim light.
